THE STORY · WHY THE CHAIN CHANGED

The trial proved the concept. The chain fixes what must be fixed

A trial currency cannot reliably pay for work. The definitive chain locks in what the trial validated — fixed cap, mint off, governance in place.

No date is promised on this page. The phases are real; the destination is a target.

01 — Three phases

A proof, a hardening, a target

Each phase carries its status — what is done, what is in progress, what is planned.

Trial · alpha

Done — the proof of concept

An exploratory, uncapped chain that validated the idea: blocks, mining, trial rewards, peer training. This is the chain that was running when the concept was proven.

Devnet L1 43911

Today — in progress

The protocol's development chain: next-generation blocks, a fixed cap and mint-off in sight, public testing in real conditions. Everything online today lives on this test network.

Mainnet 43901

Planned — never claimed as done

The launch target: a fixed economy (1 billion tokens, mint off), bicameral governance in place, the work market wired. The move happens once the known flaws are closed — not before.

02 — Why this path

A chain that pays for work freezes nothing before it is sure

Moving from the trial to the L1 is not a simple fix: it changes the nature of the token and the rules.

A

The trial proved what works: verified blocks, re-verified mining, learning without weight leaks, a sponsor without power.

B

The trial cannot pay: uncapped and mintable, its currency cannot durably reward work.

C

The L1 fixes the envelope: 1 billion tokens at genesis, mint off — only verified work is rewarded, inside it.

This site's rule: the devnet is not presented as the finished product, nor the alpha as the protocol. Every page states where each piece stands — that is the project's honesty contract (real state).

03 — The XTH homonymy

XTH ≠ XTH: the same name, two natures

The trial chain was already called XTH. Moving to the L1 changes what the token is — and this site tells it instead of hiding it.

The alpha XTH
A trial token: uncapped, mintable, useful to validate the concept. Those still circulating online today come from that era.
Done — trial
The protocol XTH
1 billion fixed at genesis, mint off — the currency of a system that pays for verified work. It is the L1 target, not an existing property.
L1 target
Practical consequence: reading “XTH” on this site or in the app does not mean the same thing across phases. Pages always carry the matching status — see the Token page.
