ALETHEIA L1 · THE CHAIN FOR USEFUL WORK

The chain that verifies
and pays useful work

AI and mathematics produce proofs, lemmas, models. No one can verify them without trusting an institution — no one knows whom to pay, how much, or how to prove it was done. Aletheia attacks this.

What you see online today is a test network (devnet). Every page states what is real, what is a prototype, and what remains to be done — see the real state.

A representation of the organism: its memory and woven links live on mathematics.aletheia-chain.com.

DEVNET 43911 — THE HEARTBEAT, LIVE

Measuring the chain…

Real numbers read from explorer.aletheia-chain.com — not a simulation.

01 — The problem

One concept: the block is a commitment certificate

Heavy data stays between peers — the chain orders and pays. Work is verified, not believed.

01

Verify without authority: each block is a commitment certificate.

02

Heavy data stays between peers — the chain orders and pays.

03

Work is verified, not believed.

02 — Three products, one thesis

Aletheia is only a first use

The chain, the framework and the organism are three distinct machines. Each carries its real status — nothing is announced before it exists.

The protocol

Devnet live

An L1 chain that orders, verifies and pays any kind of useful work — proofs, lemmas, training runs.

Real today: the chain runs on test network 43911 — blocks, finality, server-verified mining, an open explorer and RPC console. Not yet: the final economy (1 billion tokens fixed at genesis, mint off) — today's tokens come from the trial phase.

See the chain

The framework

Prototype

Generic machines to evolve and verify work: a causal harness, a federated-learning substrate, a work market.

Real today: the harness and neural-network cores are coded and tested. Not yet: the WorkMarket is not wired online — it is announced as a prototype, never as available.

The framework

The 𝔛 application

Live — example

An artificial organism that learns, remembers and discusses open problems — the first demonstration of what the chain makes possible.

Real today: a living world online at mathematics.aletheia-chain.com: memory graph, Clay rooms, chat, opt-in mining. It is an example, not the finished product.

03 — The story

A trial first, to prove — a chain next, to fix

The trial phase validated the concept. Moving to the definitive chain fixes what must be fixed — and this site tells it without gloss.

Trial · alpha

Done — the proof of concept

An exploratory chain that validated the concept: blocks, mining, trial rewards. Tokens from this era still circulate on the test network.

Devnet L1 43911

Today — in progress

The L1 development chain: the protocol is tested publicly in real conditions. Everything online today lives on this test network.

Mainnet 43901

Planned — never claimed as done

The launch target: a fixed economy (1 billion tokens, mint off), governance in place. No date is promised here.

Why this path? Because a chain that pays for work must not freeze anything before it is sure of what it freezes. The trial proved the concept; the devnet hardens it; mainnet will come only once the known flaws are closed — they are listed, not hidden.

04 — The real state

What holds, what does not hold yet

The project is in development. This section is the site's credibility contract: nothing here is flattered.

Load

  • Browser mining is lightweight — a bounded CPU budget, explicit consent, and proof-of-work re-verified by the server.
  • AI reply costs still need bounding — the operator's keys fund the replies; the limit is an open work item, listed in the audit.

Storage

  • The chain replays deterministically — history re-verifies identically.
  • Storage is not bounded yet — growth is assumed today; the limit is to be built.

Security

  • The chain is re-verified — blocks, finality, roots; model weights never reach the server.
  • Identity and money — August's critical flaws are fixed (signatures, proof of possession); the audit continues.

Durability

  • Deterministic replay holds — twenty-five thousand blocks re-verified identically.
  • Visitor backup is an acknowledged gap — a wallet key that never leaves the browser (a security choice) cannot be recovered elsewhere; loss is loss, until the export to be built.

The full audit — with file-by-file evidence — is kept current in the project repository (docs/state-of-the-system.md). The dedicated public page is live: the real state — it is what makes the rest of the discourse credible.

05 — For developers

Everything is open, everything is verifiable

A protocol in active development — what is usable today genuinely is, and nothing else is promised.
